Primecolor5: Premium Washable Matt Interior Wall Paint

Primecolor5 is a professional-grade washable matt interior wall paint manufactured by Silk Plaster in Riga, Latvia. Engineered for demanding residential and commercial projects, this premium latex emulsion combines a velvety matt finish (gloss grade 5) with the highest Class 1 wet scrub resistance according to EN 13300 — placing it among the top-performing washable matt paints available in Northern Europe.

Coverage & Technical Performance

With an exceptional coverage rate of 15–17 m²/l per coat, Primecolor5 delivers outstanding opacity from its high solids content. Class 2 hiding power ensures uniform colour in just two coats, even over darker substrates. The paint dries touch-dry in 1 hour at 20°C and 60% RH, with a 4-hour recoat interval. Full wet scrub resistance is superior highest class 1. It develops after 28 days of curing, providing long-lasting protection for high-traffic walls.

Eco-Friendly & Low VOC

Primecolor5 is independently certified A+ for indoor air quality emissions by GFC Chimica laboratory (ISO 16000). With a VOC content below 29.95 g/l — compliant with EU Directive 2004/42/EC — the paint is virtually odourless and safe for use in bedrooms, nurseries, hospitals and schools. It contains no persistent bioaccumulative toxic (PBT) substances.
